Case Study: Icknield High School, 16x16 Assessment Centre Workshops
All Year 10 students (289) took part in assessment centre workshops with Develop EBP. The aim of the session was to help them to develop a better understanding of the recruitment process and the growing popularity of assessment centres and candidate testing.
Students worked in teams to research and create a presentation, on the different forms of assessments candidates may do prior to or as part of their interview.
Pupils also tried their hand at one of the assessment tasks by completing the “buzz quiz”, which allowed them a better understanding of their personality profile, strengths and compatible careers. Students also looked at the most valuable employability skills and reflected on their own skillset.
